At Databricks, we are on a mission to empower our customers to solve the world's toughest data problems by utilising the Intelligence platform. As a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA), you will play an important role during this journey. You will collaborate with our sales and field engineering teams to accelerate the adoption and growth of the Databricks platform in your customers. As a DSA, you will help ensure customer success by increasing focus and technical accountability for our most complex customers, guiding them to accelerate usage of Databricks workloads they have already selected, helping them maximise the value and return on investment of our platform.

This is a hybrid technical and commercial role. It involves driving growth in your assigned customers and use cases through leading stakeholders, building executive relationships, orchestrating teams within Databricks, and creating strategies for colleagues. Simultaneously, you will act as the technical lead across all Databricks products post-sale, engaging at all organizational levels. You will report directly to a DSA manager in the Field Engineering organization in Northern EMEA.

The impact you will have:

• Assist strategic customers in deploying or migrating workloads into production on Databricks Lakehouse, leading the post-win technical account strategy and execution.
• Be the accountable technical leader for specific Use Cases and customers, ensuring onboarding, enablement, success, go-live, and healthy consumption of workloads.
• Develop and execute plans covering all activities of customer-facing technical roles and teams.
• Serve as the first contact for technical challenges related to production/go live status of Use Cases.
• Collaborate with User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services, Support teams, and escalate to experts when needed. Coordinate with Professional Services and Partners.
• Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for new product innovations, previews, and upgrades.
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and blockers to leadership.
• Contribute to the DSA community by sharing best practices and assets.

What we look for:

• 7+ years of experience in technical program delivery within Data and AI, contributing to technical debates and design choices.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture of distributed data systems, customer success, or consulting roles.
• Ability to attribute business value and outcomes to project deliverables.
• Technical program management experience, including stakeholder and resource management.
• Experience conducting discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, and managing complex projects.
• Continuous learning and keeping up with the evolution of the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
• A track record of overachievement against quotas or goals.
