Delivery & Project Manager (Technology & M&A)

London, United Kingdom | Posted on 27/07/2026

Location: London Area (Hybrid – 3 days in-office / 2 days remote)

Role Summary :

We are seeking an execution-focused Delivery & Project Manager to join our Global Technology Strategy team. In this role, your primary responsibility is end-to-end project management and delivery—ensuring complex technology initiatives land on time, within scope, and on budget.

While core delivery and project management form the engine of this role, you will also apply your knowledge and background in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to support technology integrations, system consolidations, and carve-out execution. If you thrive on keeping workstreams on track, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and driving tangible outcomes in deal-driven environments, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities :
Core Project Management & Delivery (Primary Focus) :
  • Execution & Ownership: Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects from inception through go-live and handover.
  • Planning & Governance: Establish clear project charters, roadmaps, milestones, resource plans, and risk/issue tracking frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the central point of contact between technical teams, business leaders, and external partners to ensure alignment and transparent communication.
  • Agile & Waterfall Methods: Apply appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid) tailored to project needs.
  • Resource & Budget Control: Oversee project budgets, track variance, and manage resource allocation across active work streams.
  • Post-Merger Tech Integration: Plan and coordinate technology integration activities following deal closures (e.g., application migration, infrastructure consolidation, identity & access alignment).
  • Work-stream Coordination: Collaborate with M&A deal leads and Global Business Services (GBS) to ensure IT deliverables align with broader integration milestones.
  • Due Diligence Support: Assist in reviewing tech landscapes during pre-deal or early integration phases to identify technical risks and delivery dependencies.
  • Day-1 & Day-100 Planning: Coordinate operational readiness tasks to guarantee business continuity across merging entities.
Key Requirements & Qualifications :
Must-Haves :
  • Proven Delivery Track Record: 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Delivery Lead driving complex IT or digital projects.
  • M&A Exposure: Hands‑on experience or solid working knowledge of M&A lifecycles, specifically tech integrations, migrations, or carve-outs.
  • Project Management Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or equivalent formal project management training.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Demonstrated ability to manage high‑visibility initiatives and communicate effectively with executives, technical architects, and vendors.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Strong proactive problem‑solving skills with a history of unblocking technical teams and resolving delivery friction.
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experience working within global, enterprise, or matrixed organizations.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software roll‑outs, cloud migrations, or IT infrastructure consolidations.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of deal structures and business readiness.
What Success Looks Like in This Role :
  • On-Time Delivery: Tech integration projects consistently hit key milestones on schedule and within budget.
  • Smooth Transition: Merged tech environments transition seamlessly with minimal operational disruption to end users.
  • Clear Alignment: Business leaders, tech leads, and external advisors are always clear on project status, risks, and next steps.
