Job Overview

The Delivery Partner Manager is both an advisor and operational partner to Delivery Service Partners (DSPs). Amazon’s team of Delivery Partner Managers assist and guide DSP business owners as they build and grow successful last mile delivery businesses within Amazon Logistics (AMZL). This role involves supporting new business launches, maintaining high standards of excellence, and advising on business improvements. The manager will collaborate with Regional On The Road (OTR) managers on responsibilities related to planning and DSP capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance in partnership with OTR Safety and Regional Managers.
• Guide DSP owners in scaling their business, managing operational issues, and preparing for peak periods.
• Support onboarding processes for new DSPs.
• Coach DSPs in utilizing Amazon tools effectively and improving customer metrics.
• Identify and implement operational improvements at the network level.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with DSP partners to enhance sentiment and performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as PAR, VAS, Legal, and Fleet teams.
• Manage capacity planning and ramp-up strategies to meet volume demands.
• Travel frequently between sites to engage with DSP owners and ensure role effectiveness.

Qualifications

Basic

• A degree.
• Experience in Operations, Last Mile, account management, or related fields.
• Experience working with third-party resources on a regional/national scale.
• Experience managing a contingent workforce during peak seasons.

Preferred

• Experience with Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma process improvements.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership in achieving team goals.
