HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) in the East Midlands is seeking Delivery Managers to lead day-to-day operations and manage teams across multiple sites in Nottingham and surrounding areas.

ENFORCEMENT You will be part of the management team in HMCTS National Services, Criminal Fines Collection and Enforcement - East Midlands. The Enforcement Teams ensure convicted parties comply with fines and other financial penalties imposed by the Courts. You will be responsible for the smooth running of HMCTS National Services, Criminal Fines Collection and Enforcement - East Midlands which includes, The successful candidate will be based at Nottingham but with the expectation of regular travel to all East Midlands sites. Occasional travel to other National Services sites may be required in line with business needs. Leading a team of EO Team Leaders and other staff at selected locations and supporting your Operations Manager to meet operational needs, deliver performance objectives and provide a consistent and customer-focused service.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the safe and secure operation of the sites. You're familiar with work environments that are process and compliance driven. You give guidance and direction to your team, to support delivery of the overall business plan. You will make sure that performance outcomes are met, and the team is resourced and trained effectively to meet your allocated budget, identifying and implementing solutions to problems. You can develop effective relationships with all key stakeholders which will include our judiciary.
These operational roles are customer facing, requiring successful applicants to be office based, with travel between offices required [suitable expenses may be considered] to provide HMCTS services to the public. Standard full time working hours are 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. HMCTS welcomes part-time, flexible and job-sharing working patterns, where they meet the demands of the role and business needs and are agreed prior to appointment. All applications for part-time, flexible and job-sharing working patterns will be considered in accordance with the MoJ's Flexible Working policy. Applications for part-time working will be considered however due to the nature of the role the minimum hours required would be 30 hours per week over 4 days.

Additional Information Working Arrangements & Further Information The MoJ offers Hybrid Working arrangements where business need allows. This is an informal, non-contractual form of flexible working that blends working from your base location, different MoJ sites and / or from home (please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas). All employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in an office, subject to local estate capacity. Some roles will not be suitable for Hybrid Working. Similarly, Hybrid Working will not suit everyone's circumstances. Arrangements will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate(s) and subject to regular review. For nationally advertised role: all successful candidates will be appointed to the nearest viable office nearest to their home postcode and on its respective pay scale. This will be at either a HQ building (subject to desk allocation, a Justice Collaboration Centre (JCC) or a Justice Satellite Office (JSO) - See Map. All employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in an office, subject to local estate capacity). For current MoJ employees, your base location will need to be changed to the nearest viable office (to your home postcode), either at a HQ building, JCC or JSO within the National Office Network and moved its location's respective pay scale (any legacy arrangements/locations will need to be amended). Some of MoJ's terms and conditions of service are changing as part of Civil Service reform. The changes will apply to staff joining MoJ who are new to the Civil Service. Staff joining MoJ from other civil service employers will transfer onto the new MoJ terms if they are already on modernised terms in their current post or onto unmodernised MoJ terms if they are on unmodernised terms at their current post. Details will be available if an offer is made. MoJ candidates who are on a specialist grade, will be able to retain their grade on lateral transfer.
