The ideal candidate is dedicated to customer satisfaction, proud of their work, and skilled in motivating and developing their team to improve delivery operations. Experience in warehouse or transport is essential, based at one of our delivery locations.
You will be responsible for
- Leading your team to ensure efficient, safe trading within legal boundaries and high customer service standards.
- Managing delivery costs and customer charges to meet targets.
- Identifying efficiency improvements and setting challenging payroll cost targets.
- Understanding the local market to provide the best service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Managing your team effectively to meet customer service needs and engaging with customers for feedback to improve service.
- Collaborating with regional teams to identify opportunities and improve workflows.
You will need
- Previous experience in deliveries or transport is essential.
- Management CPC qualification.
- Experience managing a warehouse operation.
- Strong customer engagement skills and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to develop ideas and challenge teams to improve service.
- Talent identification and team development skills.
- Motivational leadership to foster a customer-focused culture.
- Effective communication and stakeholder influence skills.
