Delivery Manager – £50,000 – Remote/Monthly South West meetups – 12 months FTC

The Role

You will join a talented team of experts as part of the Delivery Function. Your responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of projects, delivering innovative technology solutions for clients, and guiding teams through challenges. You will work on various projects, particularly retained projects for both private and public sector clients, enterprise application development, and CMS builds. Additionally, you will assist the business in scoping services across different clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Senior Manager, or similar role managing multiple concurrent design and build technology projects.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and GDS standards, with hands-on experience delivering digital products aligned with these practices.
• Expertise in applying Agile methodologies and project delivery tools, with a deep understanding of techniques to maximize client value.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, solve problems, and deliver results, while actively contributing to the delivery process.
• Experience working with both public and private sector clients, familiarity with managing projects for arms-length bodies is a plus.
• Solid experience with complex CMS design and build, web and application design, and Power Platform project delivery.
• Exceptional communication skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and handle difficult conversations empathetically.
• Ability to adapt and manage uncertainty in rapidly changing environments, maintaining focus and delivering innovative solutions.

You should be detail-oriented, task-driven, and capable of organizing the existing development team while managing priorities. You will be a delivery evangelist, pushing the team forward in their growth and development, with a positive attitude towards overcoming challenges and managing difficult stakeholders.
