Blackbullion Limited is seeking a hybrid Delivery Manager / QA to own roadmap delivery, ensure quality and reliability across the web platform and mobile app, and unblock developers. You’ll report to the Director of Product & UX and collaborate with engineers and designers in a small, remote team across the UK.
You’ll lead delivery processes, coordinate releases, and maintain product documentation while advocating efficient workflows and clear communication.
Blackbullion helps students make better money decisions, from preparing for university through to life after it. Our products include a financial wellbeing score, a learning platform, an open banking budgeting mobile app, a funding hub, and tools universities use to spot struggling students early and distribute hardship funding. We work with universities, colleges and other organisations, across the UK and beyond, and we're a small, remote team based across the UK where everyone has a real impact on what ships.

We're looking for a hybrid Delivery Manager / QA to own getting our roadmap delivered. You’ll take the product roadmap and make sure it ships, is well tested and reliable, working with the team and ensuring the wider business knows what’s coming. You’ll own quality assurance across our web platform and mobile app, and delivery: keeping work moving and unblocking developers.
You’ll report to Annie, our Director of Product & UX, and sit within our product team, working day-to-day with our engineers and designers. We're a small team working across five product areas, so you'll move between products rather than owning one.
This is a great role for someone who is organised, self-motivated, proactive and enjoys being at the centre of a product team making things happen.
You might currently work in delivery, QA, product operations or project coordination. We’re less concerned about your exact job title than your ability to take ownership and get things done.
You’ll be:
Experience with mobile apps, release management or bug triage would be ideal.
The roadmap is delivered as planned, and the team is told early when it won't be. The sprint process runs smoothly, work moves through development predictably, blockers are surfaced early, bugs are properly triaged, releases are well tested, and the wider business knows what's changing and when.
We are a remote-first company, with 4 in-person days per year. These will be London based. The location of smaller meetings and events may vary.
Salary: £35,000
We have a training budget set aside for every member of staff and we will do our best to contribute to anything you want to learn – whether through courses, books or more formal learning.
25 days of holiday, plus bank holidays, and your birthday off - we strongly believe in recharging regularly. We also close the office over the Christmas and New Year break so everyone can switch off, in addition to your 25 days of leave.
We want to make sure everyone is set up to work effectively and comfortably - so you’ll get to choose your own kit.
