About Vario

Vario is a market-leading provider of alternative legal services within the law firm Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector and comprises practice groups including Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management, and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role is within our MLS team.

Role Overview

As the Vario team expands, we are recruiting a Delivery Manager to support our MLS Delivery teams in providing a world-class legal service to our practice groups and external clients. The role involves engagement strategies, pastoral care, and development of our legal delivery teams and capabilities. The successful candidate will:

  1. Line manage a team of paralegals focused on delivering work to lawyers and external clients, including supervision, training, development, and management of direct reports.
  2. Supervise the delivery of legal services to end users.
  3. Support service delivery management on engagements as required, including resource planning, quality assurance, output/efficiency reviews, and progress reporting.
  4. Continuously develop delivery models to ensure best-in-class service.
  5. Build effective working relationships across relevant practice groups and sectors.
  6. Collaborate with Resource Management to manage work allocation, capacity, and workload levels.
Working Hours

Our standard hours are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm; flexible working requests are considered.

Candidate Overview

  • Proven ability to manage a high-performing team of legal professionals.
  • Experience delivering legal services in high-volume, multi-location environments.

  • Experience using performance metrics to ensure excellent service delivery.
