Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Delivery Manager to oversee the delivery of a significant workstream within a large transformation program for a major NI Public Sector Customer.

The role involves managing end-to-end delivery, client relationships, planning, resourcing, change management, and coordination with other delivery managers and third parties. Responsibilities include governance, financial management, risk and issue management, and ensuring seamless transition to managed services.

Required experience encompasses managing programs, workstreams, and projects in large public sector transformations, optimizing delivery efficiencies, managing budgets and resources, stakeholder relationships, risk management, and transition processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Programme Director and stakeholders on delivery and governance aspects.
  • Define and plan workstreams within the overall program.
  • Manage dependencies, issues, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
  • Drive projects using Agile or Hybrid methodologies.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, governance, and risk management.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Manage vendor and third-party relationships.
  • Lead and develop delivery teams, promoting best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven project management experience with certifications such as Prince2, PMP, MSP.
