Job description

Job Description: Delivery Manager

Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, you will manage the delivery programme for the area, interfacing between Depot Supervisors and the Project Program team. Responsibilities include coordinating Civils and Flex activities and ensuring the activity plan for PON estimates is efficient.

What you’ll do:
  1. Coordinate and record multiple site meetings with authorities.
  2. Ensure all permit and noticing conditions are met on site (NRSWA).
  3. Keep accurate daily records of planned works and issues encountered, updating SOLO Notes & Project tracker notes.
  4. Report daily to the line manager on outputs, problems, and issues.
  5. Carry out other duties as requested by the line manager.
  6. Ensure all Job Pack Supporting Documents, including ‘Box to Box’ Diagrams and Openreach A537 forms, are completed accurately and to specification.
  7. Ensure all Traffic Management / TTRO requirements are met and recorded.
  8. Set Estimate Required By Dates in line with the delivery program.
  9. Allocate jobs on SOLO/Connect system to Accredited Resources.
  10. Track Surveys against plan.
  11. Ensure ‘Light loss’ readings are sent to the client.
  12. Ensure Estimates follow mandated system progress / RFNA (Ready For Next Activity).
  13. Notice Survey Jobs if required.
  14. Carry out Surveys under S11 / S13 accreditation using Orion System.
  15. Request Manual Orders for inclusive civils.
  16. Attend Exchange Mobilisation Meetings.
  17. Compare Build Packs to Survey expectations.
  18. Track and report weekly delivery.
  19. Check quality of surveys (% of total) / Walk PON Routes.
Key Requirements:
  • Understanding of the Openreach external network.
  • Knowledge of building a PON Telecoms Network, preferably on the Openreach Network – Fibre Cities.
  • Experience with SOLO / Connect / CT Mobile is preferable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & PC literacy.
  • NRSWA Unit 2 certification.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification.
  • SA001, SA002, K006, K008 certifications.
  • N023, N027, N028 certifications.
  • S011 / S013 certifications.
  • TC55 certification.
  • MEWP certification.
  • NRSWA Unit LA, S1-S7 (Old Unit 1, 10-16).
  • Experience with Solo, Qlikview, ConnecT, etc.
