We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Delivery Manager to assume overall responsibility for and management of the delivery of a significant and focussed workstream(s) within a large and complex transformation programme for a large NI Public Sector Customer.

You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery, managing client relationships, planning, resourcing, and change management. You will coordinate with other Delivery Managers, manage subcontractors and vendors, and support programme governance and reporting.

The role requires extensive experience in managing programmes, workstreams, and projects, including requirements gathering, planning, governance, risk management, and financial oversight. Proven experience in managing large public sector transformation programmes in Northern Ireland is essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Programme Director and stakeholders
• Defining workstream scope and creating detailed plans
• Driving successful delivery, managing dependencies, risks, and issues
• Ensuring delivery aligns with standards and stakeholder expectations
• Managing escalations and governance processes
• Engaging with stakeholders and managing third-party relationships
• Leading delivery teams and promoting best practices

Qualifications:

• Demonstrable project management experience, ideally with certifications such as Prince2, PMP, MSP
• Relevant third-level qualification
• Experience in large transformation programmes, delivering efficiencies across business units
• Experience in Infrastructure, Security, Data Management, SaaS, and Azure technologies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing uncertainty
