As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Delivery Manager to join our established and highly regarded Delivery team. This role suits someone who enjoys leading complex technology programmes, working across multiple teams and suppliers, and ensuring delivery stays focused on outcomes rather than just plans. As a Delivery Manager at UBDS, you'll be responsible for leading the delivery of technology projects and programmes from initiation through to closure. You'll work closely with client stakeholders, internal delivery teams and third-party suppliers to coordinate work across a range of enterprise technology domains. You'll bring structure, transparency and momentum to delivery, adapting your approach to suit different technologies, operating models and public sector environments.
Lead and manage technology-focused projects and client engagements end to end. Define delivery outcomes, success criteria, scope, milestones and delivery plans aligned to business goals. Deliver projects across a range of enterprise technology areas, including:
Build strong working relationships with multidisciplinary teams, customers and third-party suppliers. Put in place appropriate delivery governance, reporting, financial controls and risk management. Apply suitable delivery and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid), tailoring them to the engagement. Manage delivery to time and budget, including fixed-price engagements. Proactively manage risks, issues and changes in scope, proposing pragmatic solutions. Provide leadership, coaching and motivation to delivery teams, creating clarity and confidence throughout delivery.
