A leading company in the digital publishing sector is seeking a Delivery Manager to drive the delivery of software projects and manage Agile teams. This fully remote role requires strong leadership and communication skills, along with a customer-focused approach. As a Delivery Manager you’ll help us achieve this by ensuring we deliver great value software, on time and to budget.This position reports to the Head of Delivery and you will work closely with other members of the Delivery Management function and the wider Engineering team in addition to Product and PMO team members.
This role requires a blend of strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on delivery management to ensure successful outcomes. The Delivery Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management and project managers, to agree project scope, manage risks, and deliver solutions that align with organisational goals. This position also plays a key role in driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Role Location
The role is fully remote, and so we are therefore open to candidates across the UK.

Although this isn’t a line management role you will be responsible for the team management of around 3 Agile software and/or Site Reliability Engineering teams..
We’re looking for someone who understands how engineering works. You’ll have either come from an engineering background or have strong experience of leading highly technical teams.
You will be responsible for fostering a great culture by being a strong role model and demonstrating great people leadership. You must have a continuous improvement mindset and be constantly looking for opportunities for improvement.
