Integrated Maintenance & Repair (IMR) Water Recycling (WR) Alliance – Part of the Anglian Water, Water Recycling Networks (WRN) team who manage the entire gravity and pressure sewer network in AW. The focus is not solely on infrastructure maintenance, we are an intelligent alliance that uses data to enhance the performance of our infrastructure assets in line with the wider Anglian Water Outcome Delivery Incentives (ODIs).
You’ll be responsible for leading and delivering IMR WR serviceability parcels (CCTV, sewer cleansing & defect identification and remedy, including evaluation of risk) of work across the region with a focus on performance, quality, health & safety, and financial insight. This includes overseeing resource planning, performance management, and contractor onboarding to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of parcels. Acts as the main point of accountability for the management of delivery performance, contractor engagement, and operational insight. Close collaboration with the asset owner to understand the risk in the WR network to ensure that the delivery of the serviceability parcels aligns to priorities to optimise performance and drive down AW ODIs.
Overall responsibility for delivery and quality of assigned parcels of work.
Report on performance covering all assigned projects.
Design and maintain a standardized reporting suite for all performance metrics.
Responsible for performance-related escalation to Programme Manager, including under- or over-capacity alerts.
Coordinate cover for critical duties within the team.
Conduct monthly Safety Standdowns across delivery area in coordination with other Delivery Managers.
Ensure consistent messaging and alignment with Alliance safety strategy.
Performance management, reward and development of direct team.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety (H&S), ensuring consistent H&S standards are maintained.
Ensure completion of a full Induction to H&S in accordance with Company policies, procedures, standards &/or guidance.
Manage contractor performance using data provided by Programme Coordinators; ensure accountability for continuous improvement
Experience in field delivery management in water recycling networks
Contractor/ 3rd party engagement and management
Financial reporting and budget insight delivery
Experience with geospatial data systems
Team building and leadership experience
Health and safety compliance management
Ability to challenge and question performance results
Ability to generate innovative solutions
Strong communication skills at all levels within AW and the wider alliances
Drives a Safer Every Day health and safety culture and behaviours throughout programme, planning and delivery of all projects.
