Job summary

Deloitte Recruitment is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead / Project Manager to lead the Foundation platform (Core Enablement) workstream within a major life and pensions environment.

You will manage scope, plan, RAID logs, governance, and stakeholder coordination to ensure delivery of critical platform workstreams and successful enablement for the wider platform, across business and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Lead or PM in a complex programme.
• Experience in large life and pensions or regulated financial services.
• Strong planning, budgeting, RAID, governance, and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent communication, organisation and influencing skills.
• Ability to bring structure and momentum to complex delivery workstreams.
• Confident in driving decisions across cross-functional teams.

Role Title: Delivery Lead / Project Manager – Foundation Platform (Core Enablement)

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead / Project Manager to lead the delivery of Foundation platform (Core Enablement) within a large life and pensions environment. This role will be accountable for managing scope, plan, dependencies, risks, governance, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful delivery of a critical platform workstream.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the Foundation platform (Core Enablement) workstream, ensuring outcomes are delivered to agreed scope, quality, and timelines.
  
• Maintain and manage the delivery plan, including milestones, dependencies, and key delivery activities.
  
• Track and manage budget, ensuring visibility of spend and supporting effective financial control.
  
• Own and maintain the RAID log, proactively identifying and escalating risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
  
• Coordinate business and technical contributors across multiple teams to support delivery and decision-making.
  
• Drive governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  
• Provide timely escalation and decision support to keep delivery on track and remove blockers.
  
• Ensure all governance artefacts and delivery documentation are maintained accurately and consistently.
  

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Project Manager, or PM in a complex programme environment.
  
• Experience working within a large life and pensions business or similarly regulated financial services environment.
  
• Strong capability in managing plans, budgets, RAID logs, governance, and stakeholder coordination.
