Job summary

Klarna in London seeks a Financing Product Manager to own the change-to-merchant path, coordinating with Product, Pricing, Legal, underwriting and operations. You’ll turn incomplete inputs into a plan with named owners and dates, and drive readiness, live configuration and rollout.

You’ll manage end-to-end milestones, ensure contracts and playbooks are in place for seamless sales, and escalate dependencies to keep launches on track.

• Experience shipping launches or commercial tooling on time, preferably in fintech, lending, ecommerce or BNPL.

• Own end-to-end plan for the Financing team's portfolio, including launches and market timing.
• Move priorities through gates with clear milestones and owners.
• Put contracts, terms and playbooks in place to enable sales without per‑deal negotiations.
• Drive readiness, go‑live and repeatable rollouts for new packages and platform integrations.
• Triage requests to the right owner and maintain cadence with Pricing, underwriting, Legal, and operations.
• Provide leadership with a single status view to avoid follow-up questions.

About The Role

Financing is already live at Klarna. A change to it only counts as finished when merchants are using it, and the path there runs through Product, Pricing, Legal, underwriting and operations. This position owns that path, from an agreed change to a merchant who is switched on. You'll work with incomplete inputs and no perfect brief, and you'll be the person who turns them into a plan. You'll also represent financing with sales and partners, so what is promised outside Klarna matches what is delivered inside it.

What You'll Do

• You’ll hold the end-to-end plan for the Financing team's portfolio: what is launching, in which market, by when, and what has to be true first.
• You’ll keep each priority moving through its gates, with dated milestones and a named owner for every step.
• You’ll put the contracts, terms and playbooks in place so commercial teams can sell financing without a one‑off negotiation per deal and without waiting on Legal.
• You’ll take decisions through to live configuration, including market backbook enablement and migrations to current package structures, and resolve issues with payment partners and operations until merchants are switched on.
• You’ll move new packages and platform integrations from approved to first live merchant, then to a repeatable rollout, and you’ll own readiness, go‑live and the follow‑through.
• You’ll triage incoming requests to the right owner and run the standing cadences with Pricing, underwriting, Legal and operations.
• You’ll give leadership a single view of status that they can use without asking follow‑up questions.
• You’ll chase stuck work, whether it’s data, risk decisions, legal or partner dependencies, with a specific ask, and you’ll escalate early.

Who You Are

• You’ve turned incomplete or conflicting inputs into a plan with named owners and dates, and held several teams to it.
• You’ve shipped launches, enablement or commercial tooling on time, and you can say what went live and when, ideally in fintech, lending, ecommerce or BNPL.
• You act on obstacles without waiting for a perfect brief.
• You’ve represented a product to sales, merchants and partners, set expectations, and reached outcomes that work for both sides.
• You can draft and shepherd agreement and addendum changes through to signature.
• You know enough about products and payments to spec a fix and hold engineering and payment‑partner counterparts to it.
