Job summary

Great State seeks a Delivery Manager to join our London team, leading digital projects and managing client relationships from initiation to delivery. You’ll coordinate with internal teams, ensure quality, timing and commercial success, and drive efficient delivery through Agile practices.

This role emphasizes coaching, strategic planning, and collaboration with the client and internal stakeholders to keep projects on track and financially sound.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience managing digital development projects with £100k+ budgets.
• Proven track record delivering via Agile methodologies.
• Experience with MS Project or Smartsheet.
• Strong budget management and project documentation skills.
• Agency experience and client stakeholder management essential.

Responsibilities

• Coach multi-disciplinary delivery teams to deliver projects and products.
• Develop relationships with clients and collaborate with London/Bristol teams.
• Lead the roadmap and requirements with Product/Owner and translate into actionable user stories.
• Create and develop project scopes, estimates and timelines.
• Manage project financials and governance, reporting and risks.
• Identify wider commercial opportunities with clients.
• Agree tools for managing delivery and communications.
• Facilitate team ceremonies (standups, planning, demos, retrospectives).
• Ensure capacity with Production Manager and understand risks.
• Manage third‑party relationships and dependencies.
• Ensure ISO compliance in product deliveries.
• Share knowledge to promote best practice and innovation.
