Overview of the role: Are you friendly and organised with a passion for providing excellent customer service but looking to further your skills and career? Here at Well, we aim to build the best prescription experience in the UK. Sounds ambitious, right? But that’s okay, because we’ve got a fantastic team of talented, creative and forward-thinking people, that are key in helping us get there.
Main Responsibility: Your main responsibilities as our Community Delivery Driver will be the delivery of medication to Well patients and customers from their Pharmacy. You’ll deal with the collection of prescriptions from doctor’s surgeries where required through to ensuring you have completed all legally required training in order to carry out your duties. There is also daily paperwork and reporting that needs completing to meet all legal requirements, as well as daily vehicle checks and inputting key metrics into Pharmacy systems.
The Ideal Candidate: As a Delivery Driver, you’ll need excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as you'll build strong relationships with our pharmacy teams and local customers who can’t get to our stores for their prescriptions or healthcare products. These are often some of the most vulnerable members of the community, and our home delivery service is vital to their well-being. Working closely with the Delivery Team Manager and our store teams, your local knowledge and a passion for delivering a great service will ensure that your valuable cargo gets to the right patient at the right time! It is essential you have a Full UK Driving Licence and have the Right to Work in the UK. The ideal candidate will be able to drive a Luton Style vehicle, have good knowledge of the area, and also have the flexibility to deliver the prescriptions to locations at varied timeslots.
