Job summary

BHC in Jersey is seeking a delivery driver and warehouse assistant to join our team. You will load and unload vehicles, deliver goods to clients, check in deliveries, and organise stock in the warehouse.

The role requires a clean driving licence and being 25 or over for insurance, comfortable driving a Mercedes Sprinter Luton, and a willingness to undertake forklift training if needed. You may assist fitters on site and help with display movements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a clean driving licence and be aged 25 or over (Insurance requirement).
• Comfortable driving small goods vehicles (Mercedes Sprinter Luton).
• Willingness to undertake forklift training if not already trained.

Responsibilities

• Load & unload delivery vehicles.
• Deliver goods into clients premises.
• Receipt of goods from freight companies – unloading & checking off.
• Organisation of goods within the BHC warehouses.
• Picking of goods for delivery to clients.
• Movement of display goods to/from the showroom.
• Assemble basic furniture at showroom & client premises.
• Assist kitchen/bedroom fitters on site when necessary.
• Collection/disposal of waste.

Job description

BHC is a retailer of kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, tiles & furniture
Must hold a clean driving licence & be aged 25 or over (Insurance requirement)
Must be comfortable driving small goods vehicles (Mercedes Sprinter Luton)
They will be required to use fork lift – preferably fork lift already trained but if not they must be willing to undertake training
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (37 ½ hours)
Loading & unloading delivery vehicles
Delivery of goods into clients premises
Receipt of goods from freight companies – unloading & checking off
Organisation of goods within the BHC warehouses
Picking of goods from the BHC warehouse for deliver to clients
Movement of display goods to/from the BHC showroom
Assembly of basic furniture at BHC showroom & at clients premises
Assist kitchen/bedroom fitters on site when necessary
Collection/disposal of waste
