Job summary

Driver Hire Chelmsford and Harlow are recruiting two Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operatives to join our client in Chelmsford. The role involves delivering products safely and professionally across London, with warehouse support as needed and a focus on quality customer service.

You will complete 10–20 deliveries per day, work Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, and benefit from full training, career progression opportunities, and on-site parking.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily multi-drop deliveries across London and surrounding areas
• Provide a professional, friendly and helpful service to customers
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy
• Safely load, transport and unload goods
• Collect customer signatures and photographic proof of delivery
• Use route-planning, navigation and delivery management software
• Keep customers and colleagues updated throughout the working day
• Report delivery issues, vehicle concerns or customer queries promptly
• Maintain excellent driving standards and represent the company professionally at all times
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Checking products and quantities for accuracy
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Organising and moving stock
• Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Driver Hire Chelmsford and Harlow are currently looking for 2 delivery driver/warehouse operatives to join our client in Chelmsford. Being the face of a high-quality pluming products company delivering their products all over London. With a reputation on excellent customer service, reliable deliveries and strong customer relationships.

The Role

As a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative, you will be one of the faces of clients business, delivering products safely, accurately and professionally to customers while providing support within our warehouse operation when required.

You will typically complete between 10 and 20 deliveries per day using planned delivery routes and company technology, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily multi-drop deliveries across London and surrounding areas
• Provide a professional, friendly and helpful service to customers
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy
• Safely load, transport and unload goods
• Collect customer signatures and photographic proof of delivery
• Use route-planning, navigation and delivery management software
