Qualifications

Job description

Salary:£34,987.80

Shift Pattern:4 out of 6 days a week

Location:Kammac Building, Warrington, WA2 7NT

Essential skills required:

  • Valid and in date LGV, HGV Class 2 licence or 7.5t licence
  • Valid Digital Tachograph card
  • An up-to-date Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • A good understanding of Drivers hours, legislation, and WTD
  • No more than 6 points endorsed on your driving licence.
  • DBS required in which the company will provide
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to assess, lift and manage heavy items as part of a 2/3- or 4-person crew.

Experience & Key Skills

  • Clear and effective communication skills for conveying delivery information, addressing customer inquiries, and providing updates on delivery status.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanour throughout interactions with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Presenting oneself neatly, in a professional manner and adhering to company dress code policies.
  • Understanding the importance of delivering exceptional service and striving to exceed customer expectations.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to delivery schedules and deadlines.
  • This role is hands on, it involves heavy lifting/ handling and is full of variety. It is therefore essential that the successful applicant is capable to carry out this nature of work.
  • Flexibility in work hours may be required to accommodate operational needs and respond to emergencies or unplanned events outside of regular business hours.
