Ocado Logistics is hiring Delivery Drivers to join our team in the UK. You’ll deliver groceries on time, interact with customers, and follow pre-planned routes for efficient deliveries. Training is provided and shifts include evenings and weekends, with paid breaks and overtime enhancements.

Whilst others might call you delivery drivers, here at Ocado Logistics our Customer Service Team Members play a vital role, delivering top quality products on time and in an efficient manner. You'll be out on the road whatever the weather, but you'll never have to fight over the radio station, and you can sing along as loud as you like! In return, we use our automated technology to pre-plan your route and pre-load your van.

Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so our working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays - so on top of your base pay you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £13.34 per hour. You can also stack your earnings further with enhanced overtime to fund those special occasions! All your breaks are paid, meaning for every minute at work you get paid. That's a great deal! (Everyone's shifts will vary but more information is included at the bottom of this advert to help you understand what that might look like.)

So what do we need from you? You don't need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest! But you will need the following:

Driving License Requirements:

• Full UK or EU driving license
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years
• Some deliveries involve handling alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply
• As this is a customer-facing role, good communication skills are also essential

Contract Details:

• Type: Permanent
• Hours: 37.5 hours (5 x 7.5 hours)
• Shifts: AM & PM, starting as early as 05:30, finishing as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying.
• Shift rota provided up to 13 weeks in advance

Pay Structure:

This position is lunar paid, meaning you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule.

Hourly Pay Rates:

• Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate): £12.75
• Evening Premium (from 6pm): £1.12
• Sunday Day Premium: £1.28
• Sunday Evening Premium: £2.51
• Overtime Rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift): £15.94
• Overtime Rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift): £17.06
