Job summary

Ocado Logistics is seeking Customer Service Team Members to help deliver quality groceries on time and keep customers smiling across Birmingham. You’ll be out on the road in all weather, with routes pre-planned by our automated system.

Contract is permanent with 37.5 hours a week, shifts AM and PM, and overtime premiums that raise earnings. The pay structure is lunar (paid every 4 weeks) with base rates plus evening, Sunday and overtime premiums.

Qualifications

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months driving experience.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Some deliveries involve handling alcohol products, must be over 18.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers on time and with a friendly approach.

In return, we use our automated technology to pre plan your route and pre-load your van!

You can also stack your earnings further with enhanced overtime to fund those special occasions!

So what do we need from you?

You dont need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

But you will need the following Driving Licence Requirements:

Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.

As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

Contract Type:Permanent

Contract:Your contracted hours will be 37.5 hours (5 x 7.5 hours).

Shifts:AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure:This position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying.
