Job summary

Ocado Logistics is hiring Customer Service Team Members in Greater London to deliver quality groceries to customers. You will be on the road in all weather, with full training provided. Shifts include evenings and weekends with paid breaks and a base pay plus premiums, aiming to maximise hourly earnings.

The role requires a Full UK/EU licence and 12 months driving experience. Expect 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, with AM & PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries on time to customers and interact with customers on arrival
• Follow pre-planned routes using Ocado technology and ensure safe delivery
• All break times are paid and shifts include AM/PM with early starts (as early as 05:30) and late finishes (up to 00:00)

So what do we need from you?

You dont need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

But you will need the following Driving Licence Requirements:

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.

Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.

As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

Contract Type:Permanent

Contract Hours:40 hours (including paid breaks)

Contracted days:You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7 working 8 hour shifts, and will be provided with further information during pre-boarding.

Shifts:AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure:This position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying.
