Leader Online is seeking a Delivery Vehicle Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently. You will operate various vehicle types, follow schedules, and maintain vehicles while delivering excellent customer service in a role with a basic DBS check.

The position involves driving up to 27 hours per week in the Preston area, with a competitive hourly rate and benefits as outlined in the company’s employee program.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type.
• Hold a clean driving record.
• Excellent knowledge of UK road networks and familiarity with GPS navigation.
• Basic mechanical skills for vehicle checks and minor repairs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Flexible working hours around 27 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle to transport goods to designated destinations in line with schedules.
• Follow planned routes and adhere to schedules; use navigation systems to optimise routes.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate mileage, fuel, and delivery documentation.
