Job summary

Ocado Logistics is hiring delivery team members to join our friendly, customer-facing operation. You will drive across routes, interact with customers, and be part of a fast-paced team. No prior experience is required due to our comprehensive training.

You will work 3 x 8-hour shifts weekly with premium shifts and a base pay supplemented by premiums, delivering quality goods while you join a supportive, safety-conscious workplace.

Qualifications

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Over 18 due to alcohol deliveries.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, on time, to customers as part of Ocado Logistics.
• Provide high-quality customer service on the road and at delivery points.
• Work 3 shifts of 8 hours per week, on varied days.
• Be prepared for DBS and Right to Work checks.

• Our friendly recruitment team will get in touch to conduct an Online Licence Check and Right to Work Checks.
• You will be invited to take a tour of the site, giving you the opportunity to meet the team for a question-and-answer session
• We will run a Disclosure Barring System check (DBS).
• Once all checks are completed, you will be offered the role and your career with Ocado Logistics will start! You don't need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

But you will need the following Driving Licence Requirements:

Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply. As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

Shifts: AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure: The position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying.
