Job description

We have a great opportunity for Delivery Drivers to join Team OB in our warehouse.

This role is 21 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, 3:00am-11:00am.

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that deliveries meet store requirements efficiently. Your duties include loading store stock onto the van, completing necessary forms, and delivering to stores safely and efficiently.

Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, you will also deliver furniture directly to customers.

This role is based in our Chessington Warehouse and Distribution Centre, near Tolworth station, approximately 30 minutes from London Waterloo.

About the role:

• Load the vehicle each morning to ensure legal compliance and secure stock transit, minimizing breakages
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections at the start of each shift
• Maintain knowledge of the highway code and vehicle operation procedures
• Complete all store and customer deliveries within designated timeframes
• Use Windows tablets to scan deliveries before loading and offloading at stores
• After deliveries, remove empty crates and return stock to the warehouse
• Unload your vehicle and manage crates and inter-branch transfers appropriately
• Keep your vehicle clean and maintained
• Report back to the Logistics Team Leader after routes and support warehouse tasks such as picking and goods in
• Assist with deliveries for other departments for photoshoots and events when needed
• Report vehicle damage or RTAs promptly
• Communicate delays or issues to relevant departments and customers
• Stay updated with Oliver Bonas news and updates
• Liaise with Store Managers and staff regarding delivery arrivals
