Job Description:

Responsibilities include:

1. Driving responsibly and within the law, adhering to speed limits and considering other road users.
2. Checking the delivery vehicle's roadworthiness, recording and reporting any defects.
3. Loading the vehicle safely, securely, and with care for parcels.
4. Recording daily duties, hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption.
5. Maintaining safe and fuel-efficient driving practices with hazard awareness.
6. Having a good knowledge of the Highway Code and following pre-planned routes.
7. Parking vehicles legally and securely during collection and delivery.
8. Ensuring all goods are accounted for and scanned as required.

Qualifications:

1. Held a UK or EU Driving Licence for at least 1 year.
2. Less than 6 points on license.
3. DBS check will be completed.
4. Drug & Alcohol test on induction day.
5. Previous delivery driver experience, preferably with companies like Amazon, DPD, DHL, Parcelforce, Evri, Tesco, etc.
