In return, we use our automated technology to pre-plan your route and pre-load your van!

Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so our working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays. On top of your base pay, you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £12.70 per hour. You can also increase your earnings further with enhanced overtime for those special occasions!

All your breaks are paid, meaning you get paid for every minute at work. That’s a great deal!

So what do we need from you?

You don’t need any previous experience to join our good-natured team—just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

Driving Licence Requirements:

• Full UK or EU driving licence
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years

Some deliveries involve handling alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.

As this is a customer-facing role, good communication skills are essential.

• You will be invited to tour the site, meet the team for a Q&A, and have a relaxed chat as part of a light touch interview.
• We will run a Disclosure Barring System check (DBS).
• Once all checks are complete, you will be offered the role, and your career with Ocado Logistics will begin!

Contract Details:

• Type: Permanent
• Hours: 40 hours per week (including paid breaks)
• Days: Any 5 days out of 7, with 8-hour shifts. Details provided during pre-boarding.
• Shifts: AM & PM, starting as early as 05:30 and finishing as late as 00:00. Shift rota provided up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure:

This role is paid weekly until 19th May 2025, after which it switches to a lunar cycle (every 4 weeks). If you start before this date, your last weekly pay will be on 23rd May. The first lunar cycle pay will be on 13th June 2025, covering hours from 19th May to 1st June.

Hourly Pay Rates:

Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate)

Evening Premium (from 6pm)

Sunday Day Premium

Sunday Evening Premium

Overtime rates apply for both Day and Evening shifts, Monday to Saturday.
