How will you make an impact?

The position is part of the Transportation Team, delivering goods to our customers and end users. Also making collections, picking up returns from customers or collecting from Suppliers to return to our Loughborough Distribution Centre. Performing safely and compliantly to fulfil Transportation operations at our Distribution Centre and delivery destinations.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Strictly adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Determine the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo when necessary

Requirements:

• Valid Class C (HGV) driver's license with a clean driving record
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence
• Proven experience as a Driver, preferably in a transportation/shipping role
• Excellent knowledge of UK road network
• Ability to navigate using GPS and other route planning tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy packages and operate loading equipment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights out.
