Job summary

Angard Staffing is recruiting for Royal Mail Delivery Driver roles at the Abertillery Delivery Office. This flexible, temporary position involves delivering letters and parcels across your local round, combining van driving with pedestrian deliveries.

You'll need a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points, be prepared to walk long distances, and work shifts that can vary. The role offers meaningful community service and competitive pay with potential for permanency.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points - you'll be driving a Royal Mail van as part of your round.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels by driving a Royal Mail van and walking parts of the route.
• Ensure secure delivery and safe handling of election materials and items per standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service while on duty.
• Complete route on foot and by van, maintaining service levels.
