Job Description:

Self-Employed Delivery Driver (Multi-Drop)

Depot Location: Sighthill Depot (EH11), delivering to Edinburgh City Centre and surrounding areas for example. No return to depot when finished.

Start Date: ASAP

What we're looking for:

We’re looking for self-employed drivers to join our delivery team. Whether you want regular full-time work or just a few days a week, we’ve got routes to suit your schedule.

What the role involves:

1. Delivering and collecting parcels in your own vehicle or one of our insured vans
2. Using a simple app to manage your route and communicate with the depot
3. Loading parcels and making sure they’re delivered safely and on time
4. Once you are finished your deliveries, there's no need to return to the depot for any debrief

Requirements

Our Vans:

1. Valid UK, European, or International manual driving licence
2. Age 21+ with at least 12 months of UK driving experience
3. Max 6 penalty points (some endorsements not accepted – see below)
4. For our vans: We can’t accept certain licence endorsements (e.g., TT, CD, DR, DG, AC, BA, MS)
5. Our vans are fully insured for both business and personal use, and come taxed, MOT’d, and ready to drive.

Your Vehicle:

1. Age 18+ with a valid driving licence, and appropriate insurance (Goods in Transit & Public Liability)

Other:

1. You must be eligible to live and work in the UK
2. Unfortunately, international students, who aren’t allowed to work self-employed can’t apply
3. All drivers must be reliable, with strong communication skills and a positive, hard-working attitude
4. Other requirements might vary depending on individual circumstances and client compliance
