Job summary

Breedon Group plc is seeking a Driver to support deliveries across Lincolnshire from our Woodhall Spa Concrete Plant. You will drive safely, liaise with the Distribution Team and customers, and ensure deliveries meet legal and safety standards.

Training on Breedon products and processes is provided to prepare you for high-quality service. The role covers deliveries within Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire, with some nights/weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Experience of HGV driving with a valid class C licence and CPC.
• Strong knowledge of the local area and delivery experience in aggregates/concrete preferred.
• Flexible, proactive and versatile approach; able to solve problems and work with colleagues.
• Willingness to work variable hours, including occasional nights and weekends.
• Commitment to safety and a zero-harm culture.

Responsibilities

• Driving safely and efficiently.
• Liaise and build positive relationships with internal Distribution Team and internal/external customers.
• Ensure all deliveries comply with legal requirements, prioritising health, safety and environmental standards.
• Work closely with the area Transport Manager to optimise delivery schedules and routes.
• Contribute to the team by maintaining a flexible approach to working hours, including occasional nights and weekends.
