Job summary

Cencora in Coatbridge is seeking a Delivery Driver to join a busy transport team. You will complete daily routes, load and unload goods, and maintain accurate delivery records while delivering excellent customer service.

This is a full-time role requiring 48 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. Applicants should have a full UK driving licence, a good driving record, and be comfortable using handheld devices.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with a good driving record.
• Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of road safety and vehicle checks.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work to delivery schedules.
• Comfortable using handheld devices or delivery systems.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
• Physically capable of loading and unloading goods when required.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily delivery routes across designated areas efficiently and safely.
• Load, unload, and handle goods with care to prevent damage.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and within scheduled timeframes.
• Maintain delivery records and complete relevant paperwork or electronic documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point.
• Follow all road traffic regulations and company procedures.
• Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth daily operations.
