Job description

What you’ll be doing:

• Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver a variety of products to our customers' doorsteps, on-time and in great condition.
• Completing checks to ensure the van is organized, clean, roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before driving safely in various locations and conditions.
• Serving our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions, and keeping them informed of any delays.
• Learning to use new technology confidently to do your job well, and comfortable driving large vehicles in different locations from residential streets to country lanes.
• When not on the road, helping maintain a smooth operation in the stock room or on the shop floor.
• Building knowledge about our products, services, and promotions to help provide recommendations.
• Must have driven a company vehicle within the last 6 months.

As a leading UK digital retailer, Argos provides outstanding convenience, choice, and value. As a Home Delivery Driver, you’ll deliver products to customers' doors efficiently and professionally.

Eligibility:

• You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
• You will complete an online driving risk assessment during your interview and a driving assessment if successful.
• You must have the Right to Work in the UK.
• Ability to work various shifts across the week, including three shift blocks during the day: Monday to Sunday 5:00am - 1:00pm, 1:00pm - 6:00pm, 6:00pm - 10:30pm. Hours will be scheduled around your availability and may vary weekly. Opportunities for overtime may also be available.
