Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is hiring delivery colleagues in Manchester to deliver Argos products directly to customers or collection points. You will load your van, complete a set number of drops per shift, and follow guidance from our route system to stay within scheduled times.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Fully licensed to drive with a full UK/EU driving licence held for at least 12 months and no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Argos products directly to customers' front doors or collection points as assigned.
• Load the van and complete a set number of drops per shift with guidance from ePod.
• Ensure timely, accurate deliveries with a friendly, professional attitude; provide phone support while on the road.
• Follow route guidance and safety guidelines to return to site within shift times; maintain safe driving practices.

Job description

• With a market-leading delivery service offering over 60,000 products, you'll handle items with care, delivering Argos products directly to customers' front doors or their preferred collection point


• Responsible for loading the van and delivering a set number of drops in a shift with guidance from an ePod


• Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries with a friendly and professional attitude


• We will provide phone support while you're on the road, and our route guidance will ensure you return to the site within your shift times


• Safe driving and adherence to guidelines are essential Friendly and professional, always taking pride in doing the right thing for our customers


• Reliable and enthusiastic, with a passion for providing excellent customer service


• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and carrying goods


• Being able to think on your feet and find solutions to any issues that arise during deliveries is a big plus, You must be above the school-leaver age in your country
