Job summary

Pipe & Climate Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a Delivery Driver (C1) in Newcastle. You will drive a 7.5T lorry, delivering pipe and climate products to customers, with up to 15 drops daily and a daily safety check routine.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 40 hours, 07:00–16:00. A UK LGV C1 license, CPC, Tachograph card, and prior 7.5T driving experience are required, with a focus on customer service.

• Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience in driving a 7.5T Lorry
• Track record of good customer service

Responsibilities

• Driving a 7.5T lorry delivering pipe and climate products to customers (manual handling heavy stock items)
• Carrying out up to 15 deliveries a day
• Ensuring Health and Safety checks on vehicle, equipment and load and reporting defects
• Providing excellent customer service at all times

As a Delivery Driver (C1) based in the Newcastle , you'll be responsible for:

• Driving a 7.5T lorry delivering pipe and climate products to our customers (This will involve manual handling heavy stock items)
• Carrying out up to 15 deliveries a day
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Providing excellent customer service at all times

This role is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday between 07.00am - 4.00pm.
