Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is recruiting a Part Time Delivery Driver for Newton Abbot. The role covers mornings across a 20-hour week, delivering plumbing and heating supplies locally and building strong customer relationships.

You’ll perform daily vehicle checks, load/unload deliveries, and assist in warehouse tasks. A full, clean UK driving licence is required, with multidrop experience preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• A full clean UK driving licence.
• Multidrop driving experience is ideal but not essential.
• A genuine desire to be a team player, willing to assist in all areas to ensure smooth branch operations.

Part Time Delivery Driver - Newton Abbott - Plumb Centre - 20 hours

Our branches are open Monday to Saturday (Sat. mornings only)

This vacancy is for 20 hours (4/hrs day), Mornings.

Working pattern will be discussed at the interview stage.

We are Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group - a leading specialist trade merchant across the UK and Ireland that puts customers at the heart of everything we do.

As a Part Time Delivery Driver joining our team in Newton Abbot you will:

• Deliver plumbing and heating supplies within the local area.
• Build strong relationships with our customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure everything is safe and ready to go.
• Load and unload deliveries, including manual handling.
• Support with warehouse duties when you’re back from deliveries, including unloading stock, picking & packing orders and carrying out stock checks.

So, if you’re over the age of 18 and have got:

• A full clean UK Driving Licence.
• Previous multidrop driving experience is ideal but not essential.
• A genuine desire to be a team player, willing to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
