Wolseley UK Limited in Inverness is seeking a 3.5T Delivery Driver to join Plumb Centre. You will cover an 80-mile radius, handle multiple drops daily, and contribute to warehouse duties when not delivering.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies mainly within an 80 mile radius of the branch.
• Complete 15–20 deliveries daily, to new build sites, residential customers and other businesses.
• Carry out vehicle checks.
• Load and unload deliveries, handling heavy items like boilers, radiators, toilets and sinks.
• Assist in the warehouse when not on deliveries, unloading stock, picking/packing orders, stock checks and tidying.

As a 3.5T Delivery Driver based in Inverness you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies mainly within a 80 mile radius of the branch
• The number of deliveries will vary day to day from 15 - 20 mainly to new build construction sites but also residential customers and other businesses
• Carrying out vehicle checks
• Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators toilets and sinks
• Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07.30am - 4.30pm.
