Job summary

Well Pharmacy in the UK is seeking a Community Delivery Driver to deliver medication to patients and customers from our pharmacies. You will handle prescription collections from GP surgeries when required and complete all mandatory training to carry out your duties.

You should be friendly, organised and have excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with pharmacy teams and local customers.

Qualifications

Job description

Your main responsibilities as our Community Delivery Driver will be the delivery of medication to Well patients and customers from their Pharmacy. You'll deal with collection of prescriptions from doctor's surgeries where required through to ensuring you have completed all legally required training in order to carry out your duties. There is also daily paperwork, reporting that needs completing to meet all legal requirements through to daily vehicle checks and inputting key metrics into Pharmacy systems.

These are often some of the most vulnerable members of the community, and our home delivery service is vital to their wellbeing. Working closely with the Delivery Team Manager and our store teams, your local knowledge and a passion for delivering a great service will ensure that your valuable cargo gets to the right patient at the right time! It is essential you have a Full UK Driving Licence and have the Right to Work in the UK. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to deliver the prescriptions to locations at varied timeslots. Please note that due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check before employment can commence. This includes both spent and unspent convictions, as well as information held by local police deemed as relevant to the role. Employment is conditional on satisfactory DBS clearance.
