As one of our Self-Employed Core Delivery Drivers, you'll enjoy freedom, flexibility, and better financial rewards, plus all the support and benefits of being part of our wider Yodel team. No experience is necessary, and the more you deliver, the more you earn.

Competitive rates for each parcel you deliver or collect

Typically, our Delivery Drivers can earn between £18 - £20 per hour (paid per parcel). We are committed to delivering promises as well as parcels, and are continuously improving our rates by considering business mileage and operational costs. All rates are competitively enhanced, making it a truly rewarding opportunity.

Daily & Weekly Payment Options

Yodel offers flexible payment options to all Self-Employed delivery drivers. You can access earnings from the very next day via an app provided by our early access partner, Onsi, or join the weekly payment cycle scheme, which begins after 4 weeks of completed delivery services.

Both options allow you to receive more regular payments for your delivery services.

We have plenty of parcels to deliver

There are many parcels to deliver, increasing your earning potential. Parcels weigh up to 15kg and vary in size. You can realistically deliver and collect between 16-25 parcels an hour, depending on your area and experience, working 6 days a week. The more parcels you deliver, the higher your earnings.

We'll give you freedom and flexibility

You can plan your own route or use our award-winning app with simple instructions and built-in optimisation to help you plan routes efficiently and liaise directly with customers.

We'll offer regular work in the same area, 6 days a week

We deliver parcels for some of the biggest retailers, ensuring a steady stream of parcels. This allows you to stay local and build familiarity with roads and customers.

We'll develop and support you

You will enjoy the independence of being self-employed, supported by our expert team and access to a Yodel representative for any questions.

Each day is what you make it. You can plan your route to keep things engaging. Use your mobile to scan parcels at delivery, ensuring they are safely received by customers—no complicated technology involved. We can arrange parcel collection times suitable for you, even in rural areas.

What you'll need to show us?

No experience? No problem! We provide full training and support. To get started, you'll need:

• Access to an insured car or van (up to 3.5 tonnes)
• A full UK or EC/EEA Driving Licence
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK
• IOS or Android smartphone
• Proof of your own bank account
• A great attitude
