Job summary

Bennetts is seeking a delivery driver to join their team in the UK. You will be responsible for delivering car parts and accessories to customers, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring accurate delivery paperwork.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, strong local knowledge, and a focus on safety and customer service. You may also support warehouse tasks when not on deliveries, enjoying a stable schedule and company backing.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Previous delivery or driving experience preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge of the local area.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry parts when required.
• Punctual and trustworthy; able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver car parts and accessories to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Load and unload parts, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage.
• Check deliveries against orders and obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Assist in the warehouse when not driving (e.g., picking, packing, stock checks).
• Follow route schedules and adapt to traffic or delays as needed.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report faults or maintenance issues.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, roadworthy and compliant with legal requirements.

About The Role

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 8am - 5.00pm and alternate Saturdays' 8.00am - 12.30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver car parts and accessories customers in a timely and safe manner
• Load and unload parts, ensuring they are handled carefully and delivered without damage
• Check deliveries against orders and obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
• Assist in the warehouse when not driving (e.g., picking, packing, stock checks)
• Follow route schedules and adapt to traffic or delays when necessary
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance issues
