Job summary

WatchHouse is seeking a Delivery Driver to keep operations smooth by delivering coffee, food, packaging and other essentials from our Central Kitchen, Bakery, and Roastery to WatchHouse locations across London.

You will follow planned routes, drive safely, and ensure each delivery is accurate and on time. You’ll be the face of WatchHouse logistics, communicating proactively and maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Full UK/EU driving license (no penalties).
• Able to drive both manual and automatic transmission.
• At least 1 year of delivery experience, preferably in London.
• Eligible to work any 5 in 7 shifts (05:30–13:30, 15:00–23:00).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food, coffee and other items to WatchHouse locations in London.
• Assist with delivery of packaging and non-consumables to Houses.
• Follow planned routes and use navigational tools for efficiency.
• Drive safely and in line with laws and industry best practices.
• Proactively communicate delays or issues to managers and Houses.
• Be the face of the WatchHouse logistics team, building positive relationships.
• Support Central Kitchen, Bakery and Roastery teams as needed.

Job description

Delivery Driver, WatchHouse

As a Delivery Driver, you’ll be responsible for keeping WatchHouse running by delivering coffee, food, packaging and other essentials from our Central Kitchen and Bakery and Roastery to our Houses across London. You’ll follow planned routes, drive safely and efficiently, and make sure every delivery is accurate and on time. You’ll also be a key point of contact for our teams in the Houses, communicating proactively if anything changes, and representing the WatchHouse logistics team with professionalism and a positive, can-do attitude.

Key Aspects Of The Role

• Delivering food, coffee and other required goods to our locations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assisting with the delivery of packaging and other non-consumables to our Houses.
• Following planned routes and using navigational tools to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
• Operating in a safe manner, in line with all relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices.
• Proactively communicating to line managers and Houses in the event of delays, issues or route changes.
• Being the face of the WatchHouse logistics team – acting professionally, building positive relationships with other teams and managers in our Houses.
• Working as part of the team at the Central Kitchen and Bakery and the Roastery, supporting WatchHouse as a whole.

Key Requirements

• Must have a full, clean UK/EU driving license
• Must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• At least one year of experience as a delivery driver, ideally within London
• Candidates must be able to work any 5 in 7 on a rotating shift pattern (shift times are currently 05:30am – 13:30pm and 15:00pm – 23:00pm.)
• A can-do attitude, willing to support others and the wider team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow delivery instructions accurately and work independently.
• Have high attention to detail and diligence

Key Desirables

• Experience within hospitality or food and drink sector
• An awareness of Food Safety and hygiene
• Experience working as part of a team
• Ability to be self-starting and solve problems at short notice

Starting time: Immediate start

Licence: Must have full UK/EU licence. License must be clean (no penalty points). We reserve the right to conduct license checks at regular intervals.

Wage: £13.90 p/hour + share of tronc (up to £2 extra per hour)
