Job summary

WatchHouse Coffee House Holding Limited. is seeking a Delivery Driver to keep WatchHouse running by delivering coffee, food, packaging and other essentials from our Central Kitchen and Bakery to our Houses across London.

You’ll follow planned routes, drive safely and communicate proactively with teams, representing the WatchHouse logistics team with professionalism and a can-do attitude. Starting immediately, you’ll be part of a team that values reliability, safety and collaboration, with London

Qualifications

• Full UK/EU driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coffee, food and other goods to WatchHouse locations on time.
• Assist with delivery of packaging and non-consumables.
• Follow planned routes and use navigation tools for efficiency.

• Communicate delays or issues to managers and Houses.
• Represent the WatchHouse logistics team professionally.

Job description

Delivery Driver, WatchHouse.

As a Delivery Driver, you’ll be responsible for keeping WatchHouse running by delivering coffee, food, packaging and other essentials from our Central Kitchen and Bakery and Roastery to our Houses across London. You’ll follow planned routes, drive safely and efficiently, and make sure every delivery is accurate and on time. You’ll also be a key point of contact for our teams in the Houses, communicating proactively if anything changes, and representing the WatchHouse logistics team with professionalism and a positive, can-do attitude.

Key aspects of the role:

• Delivering food, coffee and other required goods to our locations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assisting with the delivery of packaging and other non-consumables to our Houses.
• Following planned routes and using navigational tools to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
• Operating in a safe manner, in line with all relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices.
• Proactively communicating to line managers and Houses in the event of delays, issues or route changes.
• Being the face of the WatchHouse logistics team – acting professionally, b building positive relationships with other teams and managers in our Houses.
• Working as part of the team at the C Central Kitchen and Bakery and the Roastery, supporting WatchHouse as a whole.

Key requirements:

• Must have a full, clean UK/EU driving license
• Must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• At least one year of experience as a delivery driver, ideally within London
• Candidates must be able to work any 5 in 7 on a rotating shift pattern (shift times are currently 05:30am – 13:30pm and 15:00pm – 23:00pm.)
• A can-do attitude, willing to support others and the wider team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow delivery instructions accurately and work independently.
• Have high attention to detail and diligence

Key desirables:

• Experience within hospitality or food and drink sector
• An awareness of Food Safety and hygiene
• Experience working as part of a team
• Ability to be self-starting and solve problems at short notice

Licence:

Must have full UK/EU licence. License must be clean (no penalty points). We reserve the right to conduct license checks at regular intervals.

Wage:

£1 3 . 9 0 p/hour + share of tronc (up to £2 extra per hour)
