A growing electrical goods distribution company in the UK is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate will hold a valid driving license and HGV/LGV license, with experience in delivering white goods. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods, maintaining customer satisfaction, and adhering to safety regulations. Immediate start available.

Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd are working with a busy and growing wholesale Distribution of electrical white goods company for a Delivery Driver

.The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing excellent service while ensuring timely delivery of goods. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction by safely transporting products to various locations.

  • Valid driving license with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles (e.g., vans or lorries - 18 TON)
  • Category C (Class 2) HGV/LGV license
  • Experience of delivering white goods
  • Salary - 12.21 to 15ph
  • Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and care during transit.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
  • Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
