About the Role:

Our client, a leading international importer and distributor based in Westerham, is seeking an experienced and reliable Delivery Driver to join their team on an initial 2-month contract, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods to a variety of customers across the region, using a 3.5 tonne van. This role is crucial to the continued success and excellent customer service standards of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, secure, and deliver goods efficiently and safely to customer locations

  • Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any issues

  • Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner

  • Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures

  • Communicate effectively with the dispatch and warehouse teams

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver, ideally in a commercial or distribution setting

  • Must hold a clean UK driving license

  • Confident driving a 3.5 tonne van

  • Physically fit and able to handle manual loading/unloading

  • Good geographical knowledge and/or ability to follow GPS directions

  • Excellent time management and customer service skills

  • Commitment to the full duration of the 2-month contract

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working for an importer/distributor or logistics company

  • Experience using handheld devices or delivery tracking systems
