Delivery Driver

Come and join our team as a Delivery Driver!

As a Stephen's Driver you will load and deliver our award-winning bakery products to our branches and franchise customers throughout Fife, the Lothians, Perth & surrounding areas.

As we're a bakery business it's key to get our bakery products out to our customers in excellent condition and while they're still fresh, so this is a night driving position. You'll start loading racks of produce, including cakes, rolls, pies, bridies, biscuits etc in the early hours of the day, so that all our customers get their bakery goods in time for when their shops open!

Hours: 35 hours per week

Working Days: 5 days over 7 (Monday to Sunday inclusive)

Shift times: 02:00am til 09:00am or 03:00am til 10:00am

Pay: £13.35 per hour

Example pay weekly from: £467.25, annual pay from: £24,297 plus optional overtime is available

What You’ll Do

1. Laying out cake boards at the start of your shift
2. Loading your van
3. Vehicle safety checks
4. Delivering on time and to agreed quality and safe driving standards
5. Collecting waste products and empty boards/racks
6. Emptying and cleaning your van
7. Supporting despatch and production before loading vans and after the van runs are complete

What You’ll Need

1. Previous van/large vehicle handling and driving is essential
2. Previous delivery experience in multi drop deliveries is highly advantageous
3. Full clean driving licence, with less than 6 points, which you’ve ideally held for at least 8 years

4. Overtime: Overtime shifts on the 6th day are paid at 1.5x basic rate, overtime shifts on the 7th day are paid at 2x basic rate
