Overview

Self-employed Core Delivery Driver

As one of our Self-Employed Core Delivery Drivers you\'ll enjoy freedom, flexibility and better financial rewards, plus all the support and benefits of being part of our wider Yodel team. You don\'t need any experience, and the more you deliver, the more you earn.

• Competitive rates for each parcel you deliver or collect - Typically, our Delivery Drivers can earn anything between GBP18 - GBP20 p/h (paid per parcel).
• Daily & Weekly Payment Options - Flexible payment options to access earnings from the very next day via an app provided by our early access partner, Onsi, or via the weekly payment cycle after 4 weeks of completed delivery services.
• We have plenty of parcels to deliver - Parcels weigh up to 15 kg and vary in size. You can realistically deliver and collect between 16-25 parcels an hour, 6 days a week.
• We\'ll give you freedom and flexibility - Plan your own route or use our app with built-in optimisation to plan routes and liaise with customers.
• We\'ll offer regular work in the same area, 6 days a week - Work with major retailers in the area and stay local.
• We\'ll develop and support you - You\'ll have independence as a self-employed driver plus support from a Yodel representative.

The Life of a Core Delivery Driver

Each day is what you make it. You can plan your own route. At each delivery or doorstep, use your mobile to scan parcels and ensure they\'re received by the customer. We can arrange daily parcel collections or, for rural areas, drop-offs. All drivers have access to additional benefits including partner discounts, health and wellbeing programs, and business development support.

What you\'ll need to show us

No experience? No problem! We provide full training and support. You\'ll need to show:

• Access to an insured car or van (up to 3.5 tonnes)
• A full UK or EC/EEA Driving Licence
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK
• iOS or Android smartphone
• Proof of own bank account
• A great attitude
