Delivery Driver

Location: Corby NN17 5DP

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm

Type: Permanent position after a successful temporary period, immediate start available

About the Role

Due to the continued success of our client, a market-leading company based in Corby, Northamptonshire, we have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Driver to join an experienced team.

Responsibilities

1. Stay updated with driving rules and regulations, adapting to legislative changes.
2. Operate safely, adhering to health and safety practices.
3. Follow customer and supplier site rules.
4. Meet goals and objectives promptly.
5. Maintain cleanliness and safety of on-site work areas and vehicles.
6. Report system failures immediately to your line manager.
7. Load vehicles safely.
8. Complete and submit delivery notes promptly.
9. Maintain company vehicle, report defects, and perform daily compliance checks.
10. Perform factory tasks when not driving, as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

Ideal candidates will have experience in roles such as Courier Driver, Warehouse Driver, or Despatch Driver, and be capable of performing physical duties within a manufacturing environment. A full clean driving licence is required, and an FLT Counterbalance licence is preferred.
