Self-employed Core Delivery Driver

As one of our Self-Employed Core Delivery Drivers, you'll enjoy freedom, flexibility, and better financial rewards, along with the support and benefits of being part of our wider Yodel team. No prior experience is necessary, and the more you deliver, the more you can earn.

Competitive rates for each parcel you deliver or collect. Typically, our Delivery Drivers can earn between GBP18 - GBP20 per hour (paid per parcel). We deliver promises along with parcels, and we're continuously improving our offerings. All rates are competitively enhanced, considering business mileage and operational costs. It's a gamechanger.

Daily & Weekly Payment Options. Yodel offers flexible payment options to all Self-Employed delivery drivers. You can access earnings from the next day via an app provided by our early access partner, Onsi, or join the weekly payment cycle, which begins after 4 weeks of completed deliveries.

Both options allow you to receive more regular payments for your services.

Plenty of parcels to deliver. There are ample parcels to deliver, providing significant earning potential. Parcels weigh up to 15kg and vary in size. You can realistically deliver and collect between 16-25 parcels an hour, depending on the area and your experience, over 6 days a week. The more parcels you deliver, the higher your earnings.

Freedom and flexibility. You can plan your own route or use our award-winning app with simple instructions and built-in optimisation to help you plan efficiently and communicate with customers directly.

Regular work in the same area, 6 days a week. We deliver for major retailers, ensuring a steady flow of parcels and the opportunity to stay local and familiarise yourself with the roads and customers.

Support and development. Enjoy the independence of being self-employed, backed by our expert team and access to a Yodel representative for assistance.

Requirements

No experience? No problem! We provide full training and support. To get started, you'll need:

• Access to a insured car or van (up to 3.5 tonnes)
• A full UK or EC/EEA Driving Licence
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK
• IOS or Android smartphone
• Proof of own bank account
• A great attitude
